What is  YOCLE  ?

Universities, schools and educational organisations have been promoting the development of generic competencies through a variety of learning activities. However, these experiences often take place outside classroom, which makes it difficult to assess the extent of and their impact on students' learning.

Available as a web-based platform with iOS and Android companion apps, YOCLE is a unique and easily accessible e-learning tool with generic competencies incorporated into its core function design.

What is it like?

Step 1: Self-Assessment

When students first sign up on YOCLE, they will all complete a research-validated self-assessment to find how they measure their own generic skills, which acts as the baseline for comparison as they engage in learn and develop.

Step 2: Assign to courses or learning activities

Teachers can assign large batches of students to courses in a few simple clicks, and grant them access to course material, assessment tasks, message boards, and more.

Courses can be easily built with our course creation tool, which contains a wide range of assessment options and even more rubrics

to suit different contexts and stage of study.

Step 4: Review student work and give feedback

On YOCLE, feedback, reflection, and assessment can happen at any point of time before, during, or after the activity. Anyone on the platform, including students themselves, can be assigned to provide feedback.

Feedback can be in written, audio, and other formats!

Step 3: Request and give feedback, complete assignments, carry out reflections...

On YOCLE, feedback, reflection, and assessment can happen at any point of time before, during, or after the activity. Anyone on the platform, including students themselves, can be assigned to provide feedback.

Step 5: Track learning progress

Not only does YOCLE function as a learning management system and platform for assessment, feedback and online courses, but it also tracks students' learning progress across different learning activities and over time.

That can then be exported as a transcript summarising all achievements and used as evidence during further studies and internship applications.
